I understand that all floats and entries must be decorated in the holiday theme of the parade. Plain vehicles, undecorated company cars, or entries used solely for advertising will not be permitted.

I hereby understand that all matters (people and property) dealing with participation within the Hyde Park Lions Santa Claus Parade are wholly and fully the responsibility of the person/group that enters into the parade. All liability is squarely on the persons entering the parade, before, during and after the parade. All and any matters (improper language, violence, etc) that is reason for removal from the parade are reserved upon the discretion of the parade committee members and the policing officers present. If the float that is entered in the parade is larger than a 1500 pick-up truck or single 1-ton trailer. The float must provide two parade marshals to walk alongside the float to protect the persons on the float from any harm in a fall.
